    Madeleine started to learn piano when she was 4 years old in Quebec, Canada. She continuously studies piano with Mr. Albert Tiu at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore.
        In Canada, Madeleine was an Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music, having completed her practical and theoretical requirements with Distinction in 2017 ARCT diploma. She was a finalist in the Canadian Music Competition (CMC) in both 2015 and 2016. During 2015 and 2016 two years, she was also awarded the "Highest Mark in Junior Piano 8-11 years and under" twice while taking part in Calgary's Performing Arts Festival (CPAF). After she moved to Singapore 2018, she won gold for the 7th Singapore Performers’ Festival & Chamber Music Competition. She has also won first place in the 14-16-year-old group in the Second Singapore International Classical Piano Competition. In 2019, she was awarded gold in taking part of Singapore's Raffles International Music Festival, and 2nd place for the 3rd Singapore International Classical Piano Competition.
      In addition to her classical music immersion, Madeleine participates and plays in her school Jazz and symphonic band both on piano and trombone. Other extracurricular interests include fencing and biking. She enjoys baking and reading.
