Kim Bo Kyung received her Doctoral degree in piano performance from the University of Texas at Austin, her Master’s degree in piano pedagogy and piano performance from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University. She has given many solo and chamber recitals in the US, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, Germany, Rumania, Turkey, Malaysia and Singapore. Dr. Kim has been invited to teach in festivals - Euro Art Music Festival in Germany, Silpakorn University, Piano Island Festival, Asia International Piano Academy Festival (AIPAF) in South Korea and as adjudicator - Ananda Sukarlan International Piano Competition in Jakarta, 4th and 5th Singapore Performers’ Festival. Currently based in Singapore, she teaches at the School of the Arts (SOTA) and maintains a private studio.
