Nao Mieno was born on the 29th November 1994 in Hyogo, Japan.
She is currently studying under famed pianist bronisława Kawalla at the Fryderyk
Chopin University of Music.
She has won numerous awards including second prize in the PTNA Piano
Competition, Grand prize in the Sengawa Piano Audition, and Gold prize in the
Chopin International Piano Compelition in ASIA among others.
She has performed so many places around the world such as Japan, Taiwan,
Austria, and Poland.
Especially in Japan, she has held a number of recitals, to name a few, The La
Folle Journee Tokyo, The Nippon Foundation concert, and All Chopin Recital in Hyogo
Prefecture Citizens' Hall.
In Poland, she has appered in the recital commemoration the 100th anniversary
of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Japan.
She has performed with renowned orchestras including the Japan Philharmonic
Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Nishinomiya Symphony
Orchestra.
She attended the 18th Hamamatsu International Piano Academy and the 1th
Chopin International Master Class.
She has received YAMAHA music scholarship.
So far, she studied under Hiroshi Arimori, Chiharu Sakai, Sumiko Ikeda, Syuji Tanaka.
