LIU,Yuntian

Yuntian Liu has performed at many countries around the world, including China, Japan, USA, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and Ukraine. Also he has appeared as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine; the Belgium national symphony orchestra; the Guangzhou ,Shenyang and Tianjin Symphony Orchestras; Kansas City Phiharmonic Symohony Orchestra, and ICM Chamber Orchestra. Professors and concert artists from whom he has taken master classes include Li Mingqiang, Zhou Guangren, Chen Hung-kuan, Dan Thai Son, William Grant Naboré, Malcom Bilson, Martino Tirimo and Tamás Ungár.
 
Liu was born in China in 1986 and began to study piano at the age of 5 with Li Song and Zhu Lin. From 1999 until 2004, he studied with Xie Xiaohe in the Affiliated Middle School of Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China. After completing his pre-collegiate studies there, Liu was recommended to advance to the piano department of the Conservatory where he pursued his undergraduate degree from 2005 to 2009 under the instruction of Professor Galyna Popova. From 2009, Liu studied with Van Cliburn international piano competition gold medallist Stanislav Ioudenitch at Park University's International Center for Music USA, where he obtained his master degree on piano performance in 2011, and graduate certificate in 2013. Liu was officially invited to study at the world-wide renowned International piano academy of Lake Como in 2013 and continued his study with Prof. Nabore and Prof. Ioudenitch. From 2018, Liu started his doctral progam at Central conservatory of music, under the instruction of Prof. Danwen Wei. As a faculty member, Liu currently holds a position in piano department, Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangzhou.
