Yang Shanshan, one of the most talented pianists in China, Yamaha artist, Associate-professor of Central Conservatory of Music .She graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with a Master’s degree, Yang has won a variety of awards and honors, including the first prize of the Excellentia International Piano Competition in Belgium as well as the first prize of Andre Dumortier International Piano Competition in France, and the Hollywood Golden Key Honor.
Besides piano performing, Yang is also a brilliant professor and is known for her patience, passion and excellent skills in piano teaching. She has received the "Best Teaching Award" for a variety of competitions, including the 9th International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz (2011), "The Conservatory Cup" and "Yamaha Annual Scholarship", etc. In recent years she also held open class and concerts with her students. In 2011 and 2014 she was invited twice as the judge for CCTV Piano Competition (professional group).
